2011 Summer Minuteman League Champion - Ayr/Shirley
Fall Baseball begins on September 10 and will have a schedule through October 15 for the Minuteman division and 7 weeks through October 22 for the Step Up division. There are insufficient teams to form a High School division for 2011. Please go to the online rule book to learn about the rules and characteristics of each of these fall programs.

The MIAA rules on the use of non-wood bats shall apply to all Minuteman Baseball League players 14 yrs old and older. For details of the current MIAA bat rules, please visit the following web site http://www.massbca.com/#/2011-bat-rules/4547774802. The current list of approved bats by the MIAA (really the NFHS) may be found at this link http://www.nfhs.org/content.aspx?id=4155. This list is updated often as the bat manufacturer secures approval for a bat. A player may use a wooden bat of any specifications. Each manager will be responsible for enforcement of this rule among his/her players (see Rule 5.3 in the Minuteman Baseball League Rule book for illegal bat penalties).

Minuteman Baseball League

2011 marks the 16th season of the Minuteman Baseball League, a spring, summer and fall recreational baseball league for players of ages 13 through 18. The league began in 1996 with teams from Maynard, Sudbury, and Wayland, and then expanded to include Westford in 1998, Concord-Carlisle in 1999, Weston in 2001, Acton-Boxborough in 2005, Littleton in 2006,Wellesley in 2007, Bolton in 2008 and Ayer/Shirley, Hudson and Groton/Dunstable in 2010.
