Welcome to the 2010 Minuteman League This is the primary section for the Minuteman League related information - schedules, scores, standings, etc The spring season of 2010 will be comprised of 3 separate divisions. The first division is the Patriot League which is for 13-year old players only as defined in our rules. The second division is the Minuteman League which is for 13 to 15-year old players as defined in our rules. The third division is the Continental League which is for 16 to 18-year old players as defined in our rules. During 2009, the Minuteman Division will play 3 rounds of regular season play on weekends. An attempt will be made to schedule games against teams of comparable ability throughout the regular season. Teams in the Patriot League will play against each other during the week with a separate single elimination playoff among all teams at the end of the season. All teams are eligible to participate in a round of post-season playoffs. During the spring of 2010, the Minuteman League is planning a 14-game regular season schedule, starting the weekend of April 24 - 25 and concluding the weekend of June 5 - 6 (weather permitting). Post-season single-elimination playoffs, which include all teams, will be held immediately after the regular season, beginning the week of June 7. The Minuteman League championship games are planned for Sunday June 13 (weather permitting). Now, let's play ball and have some fun!! -- Minuteman Baseball League Board of Directors |
